In my animated film 'Welcome to the Manosphere' I address the growing issue of misogyny on the internet. The film humorously depicts various groups within the Manosphere, an online community of misogynistic men and men's rights activists, along with their absurd ideologies and conspiracy theories. Particularly dangerous are the Incels (involuntary celibates) who share their sexual failures in the virtual world and harbor contempt towards women. The film utilizes authentic texts and dialogues from Incel forums to realistically portray the language of these misogynists. Through humorous exaggerations, the film satirically sheds light on the absurd issues within this subculture.
The film is in German, but there are English subtitles.
